My best guy friend is dating a girl that I pretty much hate. Isn't that messed up? And another bad thing is, is that whenever it's just him, me, and this other friend, it's really cool and laid-back. But when he's with her, he's always running his mouth, acting like he's so funny. Plus, he's been saying bad things about my best friend *she likes him*. It kills me to think that he's cut me out of the picture. What do I do? -Anonymous

Dear Anonymous,
First, that is messed up. :)
2. Doesn't he runs his mouth all day when he's with you and your other friend?
3. What kind of bad things?
4. But, doesn't he have more time with you and your friend than his girlfriend?
5. I would prefer that you could just talk to him about your "friendly" jealousy. If not alone, do it with a friend or BEST friend. Whatever happens, tell me. ASAP. I'm just asking questions to get more detail. :)

2. True, true. It's just, it's like that he's different when he's with her.
3. Ooh...BAD THINGS. He only said one thing though.
4. NO, they sit together in Social Studies, Family Life, Art, Spanish: In-Class, Language Arts, and Religion. They sit close by eachother in Science and Math. (I sit next to him in Math).
5. Thanks for the advice, but it's hard to talk to him about serious stuff, like this. He usually puts a smile on my face but recently its just frowns :( -Anonymous

2. How different? Does he act differently or something?
3. Like what? What's the bad thing?
4. DANG!
5. You're welcome. So, you just need someone to talk to him with you. Like a BFF maybe or someone who knows how you're feeling. It won't be that hard.

So, let me get this straight:
You're jealous of him hanging out with his girlfriend and feels like a third wheel.

If that's wrong:
Then, you're just sad that he doesn't have more time with you and your other friend than his girlfriend. Ugh. I'm starting to hate that word.

I know how you feel, sort of. You just want some attention but not a lot of attention because you need privacy. :)

Again, tell me whatever happens ASAP.

Yes. There used to be a group. A little, humorous group that consisted of four people that just like to have fun with eachother. It just clicked, the four of us. But she came along and change everything. I try my best not to make stuff dramatic, but sometimes, the universe just calls for it.
2. They're always together. He's different because when he's with her, it seems like he's not himself. Like he's acting like something else to impress her.
3. I'm really, really, really, really sorry to my friend for saying this, but its the truth. It's what he said. He called my bestfriend "an ugly caveman." Please, keep that to yourself.
4. UGH.
5. Thanks, let's hope this'll help (; -Anonymous

1. Oh, I understand.
2. Oh, I see.
3. Oh, she knows that. She told me that she even called him "a hobo." I think that's more "bad" than that.
5. So, what's on your mind? How are you going to clear this out?

For now, I'll stick to your plan. Thanks for your help, Joelle (; <3 Anonymous
